AWT — Experiential Evolution & Spatial Optimization - bologna 2026
The Intervention:
Evolving the highly successful premium concept for AWT’s consecutive appearance at Cosmoprof. Capitalizing on user-experience data from the previous edition, AVNTGARD optimized the booth’s layout through strategic spatial inversion. Without altering the overarching structural engineering, the intervention shifted toward a warmer material narrative and integrated an immersive, branded sensory activation to drastically increase visitor dwell time.
Technical & Spatial Execution:
Data-Driven Layout Inversion: Maintained the architectural framework of the massive rear block and open showroom while inversion-mapping specific functional zones. By swapping the orientation of select areas, the booth streamlined crowd flow and maximized sightlines based on real-world visitor patterns from the previous year.
Material Shift to Premium Parquet: Replaced the clinical, high-gloss white floor with a rich, premium parquet flooring. This strategic material swap instantly softened the environment, transitioning the booth from a high-tech showroom into an ultra-welcoming, luxury hospitality salon.
Branded Sensory Bar Activation: Integrated a dedicated, custom-built bar station anchored by a fully customized, brand-wrapped popcorn machine. This playful yet sophisticated culinary touchpoint introduced an engaging olfactory and sensory element to the B2B environment.
Bespoke Collateral Detailing: Extended the corporate brand identity down to micro-level details by designing and producing custom-branded popcorn boxes. This turned a simple hospitality gesture into a cohesive, highly visible marketing asset carried throughout the fairgrounds.
