ELIND — Biophilic Evolution & Hospitality - dusseldorf 2026
Context & Challenge
For the 2026 edition, the architectural directive for Elind was to evolve the booth concept by rebalancing the spatial dynamics. While maintaining the brand's core conceptual DNA, the layout underwent a strategic programmatic shift: significantly downsizing the enclosed office footprint to make room for an expansive, high-end hospitality environment wrapped in a premium, biophilic aesthetic.
Spatial & Technical Execution
Expanded Lounge & Hospitality Core: The private office zone was downscaled to optimize the floor plan in favor of an enlarged welcome and reception area. This space was enriched with a premium lounge layout featuring sofas , transforming the booth into an open, inviting hub for relaxed B2B networking.
Timber Framework & Parquet Flooring: Transitioning toward a warmer, organic aesthetic, the booth’s architecture was upgraded with a custom-engineered wood structure paired with premium parquet flooring. This unified timber palette added natural textures, structural warmth, and high-end materiality to the entire pavilion.
Living Vertical Green Wall: The primary visual anchor of the 2026 design was the integration of a premium vertical green wall composed entirely of real, living plants (parete verde verticale con piante vere). This biophilic installation provided a high-contrast, refreshing backdrop that elevated the premium feel of the space.
Result
A sophisticated, modern adaptation that aligned Elind with contemporary biophilic design trends. By trading rigid office walls for a warm timber framework, parquet flooring, live greenery, and an open lounge, AVNTGARD successfully shifted the booth's focus toward premium comfort, enhancing client dwell time and engagement.
