ESO — Volumetric Ceiling Engineering - rimini 2025
The Intervention:
Engineering and manufacturing a highly geometric, lighting-driven iteration of the client-provided concept for ESO at Ecomondo. AVNTGARD acted as the technical execution partner to realize a complex, multi-depth suspended canopy that serves as the primary architectural and atmospheric driver of the space.
Technical & Production Execution:
Multi-Depth False Ceiling: Engineered of a massive custom drop ceiling (controsoffitto) composed of independent structural boxes manufactured at varying depths to create a highly dimensional, three-dimensional topography.
Internally Illuminated Modules: Outfitted the interior of each volumetric box with custom-calibrated internal spotlights , managing light diffusion to transform the overhead structure into an organic, dappled "luminous forest" (foresta luminosa) effect.
