LA MONDIALE — Micro-Alpine Architecture & Material Synergy - munich 2022
The Intervention:
Designing a compact exhibition space for the renowned mountain footwear brand La Mondiale at ISPO, one of Europe's leading outdoor sports events. The challenge was to seamlessly showcase a portfolio of complementary brands within a small footprint, while fully immersing visitors in an authentic, high-end mountain cabin environment.
Technical & Spatial Execution:
Multi-Species Timber Matrix: Utilized a selection of different wood species for the wall paneling and custom display fixtures, layering natural textures and organic depth to elevate the sensory experience of the space.
Alpine Cabin Micro-Environment: Recreated the intimate, cozy atmosphere of a traditional mountain lodge by combining a curated palette of deep, warm colors with highly tactile materials, stepping away from generic trade fair carpentry.
Portfolio Spatial Integration: Smartly engineered the limited footprint to cleanly define and separate the various sub-brands, ensuring each footwear collection maintained its distinct identity without cluttering the compact spatial flow.
