The Intervention:
Engineering and manufacturing a client-provided design concept, translating complex aesthetic requirements into viable structural solutions. AVNTGARD resolved critical construction challenges to realize high-precision cantilevered elements and advanced, multi-layered lighting integration.
Technical & Structural Execution:
Cantilevered Ceilings: Engineered a hidden, custom structural support matrix to achieve seamless cantilevered ceilings (soffitti a sbalzo) without visible structural columns, maximizing open volumes.
Double-Wall Framing: Developed a double-wall structural framework (doppie pareti) engineered to conceal lighting hardware, generating deep, precisely layered backlighting effects (retroilluminazione stratificata).
Precision Production: Managed the entire manufacturing and prototyping pipeline, ensuring millimeter-level tolerance in structural joints to maintain flawless architectural lines and clean light diffusion.
