Can culture save coworking?
This is the question behind the "BYWAY life is not straight" project.
For over a decade, we've been hearing about coworking and its imminent explosion on the market, but in reality, this concept hasn't yet taken shape.
We believe that the world of bars—carefree and relaxed—and that of offices—demanding and stressful—can't coexist because they're too far apart.
But what if a coworking space were to become an 18th-century literary café?
A place where ideas, thoughts, movements, art, and culture come together.
Not a place where digital nomads go in search of an internet connection, but a destination for anyone who wants to connect with the city while learning about the thoughts, work, and ideas of others.
A network made up not only of clients but also of partners (museums, institutions, artists, universities, etc.) who periodically set up a space and use it for their meetings, gatherings, events, or leave it free for those who wish to use it to foster interaction.
A network of services and information that extends beyond the physical dimension and adapts to change.
Life isn't straight; only by wandering and learning can interesting things be created.
