VTN — High-Scale Modular Engineering & Industrial Architecture - rimini 2024
The Intervention:
Technical engineering, manufacturing, and execution of a massive exhibition pavilion for VTN—a global leader in demolition, recycling, and earthmoving attachments—at Ecomondo. AVNTGARD acted as the strategic technical partner, with the realization of a dual-zoned layout that balances heavy-machinery display with high-end B2B hospitality, driven by a highly innovative, reconfigurable architectural asset.
Technical & Spatial Execution:
Dual-Zone Macro Layout: Structured the vast footprint into two distinct operational zones: a heavy-duty frontal showcase dedicated to VTN's massive industrial equipment, backed by a sophisticated rear booth housing a large reception area, fully equipped private kitchen, and a centralized warehouse.
Proprietary Modular Frame System (5m Height): Engineered a custom iron structural framework with modular mesh panel infills finished in the brand’s signature yellow and black corporate colors. Standing at a commanding height of 5 meters, the system was meticulously calculated by AVNTGARD to balance bold vertical presence with absolute structural integrity.
High-Yield Corporate Asset Design: Specifically developed this iron-and-mesh system to function as a long-term corporate asset. AVNTGARD selected lightweight, high-resistance materials and engineered the connections so the entire 5-meter-tall structure dismantles into low-volume, easily transportable parts that can be endlessly reconfigured to adapt to different fairs and layouts.
Premium Mineral Materiality: Grounded the hospitality zone with premium stone-look laminate flooring (pavimento laminato pietra). This choice provided a rugged yet sophisticated textural contrast, seamlessly blending the raw industrial nature of the machinery with high-end interior design.
Result
A massive, high-impact presence that successfully balanced brute industrial scale with refined corporate hospitality. By developing the custom 5-meter modular grid system, AVNTGARD went beyond a single fair setup—delivering a versatile, sustainable, and lightweight structural asset that optimizes VTN's logistics and ensures a consistent, premium brand image across all future global events.
